[laughter] fault to the marine corps, i friend's sister got in -- my got into a cart -- sister got into a car reckoned they didn't know if she was going to make it. he had to go for emergency leave and they put him behind me. that was the plan, for us to be together in vietnam, but it didn't work out. onwound up losing his life may 20, 1960 while i was in the hospital in pensacola. i didn't see him anymore after that. >> after this experience, you said you were the youngest editor. you worked there for many years. did you ever go back to a war zone? did yo
