i was born in breckenridge, texas, and grew up in iowa. growing up, i had big dreams for the future, just like everybody else. i liked writing, fashion and design, and went to school for accounting. while in college, i had a boyfriend who sold drugs and i made a terrible decision to sell drugs. to at the beginning my boyfriend at the time was able to get ecstasy pills and i would tell them to my friends. i was not addicted to drugs but ice soon became addicted to the money, even telling them. i was pretty naive about drugs and that ignorance ended up causing me to be incarcerated for seven years. at the time i was arrested, i moved on to selling other drugs, primarily cocaine, and powder in crack forms. i was sentenced to ten years in federal prison and send served most of my sentence that fbc brian and fbc -- learned about the covid-19. we knew we were at great risk of contracting covid-19 in prison as there is no way to be physically distant and that correction officers came out of prisons from the community were likely to bring the dise
