the breeze has really tailed off. we had a northerly, north westerly breeze yesterday.eally provided up welling and the water temps are called oh the buzz word is el nino. oh my goodness. you can't stop hearing the end of it. and rightfully so. the forecast models continue to be very, very bullish. most of them. that will have greater than 90% chance that will continue through the end of this year but into spring of next year. however, it doesn't mean we are going to get rain. it does not. i repeat. i mean it does not. the jet stream possible. i mean if everything came together. but there is a lot going on. there is very warm water up in the pacific northwest. been there is a long time. even up in the gulf of alaska. there is this warm blob. i'm not trying to make light of it. it's been there for a long time and we really don't know how that will influence our weather. it's colder off our coast than it is on most of washington and oregon. we're in the mid 60s on the water temps. we have low to mid 50s. and what is here now doesn't mean it's going to be that strong down

that is a trickle of a sea breeze.ds are onshore but not nearly strong enough to bring those inland temperatures down. the sea breeze was out there today but compressed to ocean beach as we go hour by hour. look at the temperatures here. by lunchtime, and early afternoon, 106 degrees to 103 right now. you notice ocean beach throughout the day, 50s and 60s. that marine layer has been up to 2000 feet thick today stamped down close to 700 feet thick. only places along the immediate coast really seeing any benefit of that sea breeze. that's where we're finding the 60s right now. sea breeze picking up in san francisco. 66 in half-moon bay. inland temperatures concord still 105 degrees. these numbers 10 to 20 degrees warmer than the day before. the sea breeze starting to pick up. for the coast and the peninsula tomorrow, these will be the locations that see, again, a bit of a break from the heat. was for the north bay valley tri-valley, and down towards the santa clara valley especially south of san jose that's where we will
