joining me on the phone is the mayor of myrtle beach, south carolina, brenda bethune.and see the pictures showing flooding, wind and rain, how worried are you about your town? >> well, i'm very concerned naturally, but i know that we are as prepared as we can possibly be at this point, and from here on out we just sit and wait and take what comes our way. that's really all we can do. >> is there anything that the citizens of myrtle beach need from the state government or the federal government that you're not getting? >> no. they have been absolutely incredible and so supportive, both governor mcmaster, the federal government, mayors from other states. i mean, we've had so many people reach out to us already, and we know that we can call when this is all over and we will rebuild and do so quickly and myrtle beach will be back open for business. >> are most if not all of the citizens of myrtle beach, have they evacuated? >> right now we think we have about 60% complaint which is great. we usually don't have that high of a percentage, but i think the fact that this storm

i want to bring in the mayor of myrtle beach, brenda bethune. i know it's a busy time.for the last couple days. what's your biggest concern? first of all, how are you doing? >> i'm hanging in there. i'm tired, but i think everyone is at this point. and just anxious. anxious about what's coming. especially after seeing the images before i came on with you of our neighbors in north carolina it's scary what's happening. >> what's your biggest concern? >> the water. the fact the storm is coming in on us with two high tides and the amount of rain it's going to produce. it's just stalling. we don't know what to expect. hopefully it will be better than what we're seeing. i hate for anybody to be experiencing what north carolina is right now. and i just hope and pray that's not the case for us. >> look at those images. this thing hasn't even made landfall. we're still getting the outer bands. for anyone who says what's going on, where is it, what's happening, what do you say to them? they're underestimating the power of this. >> it's a mistake. we cannot underestimate this stor

they were eventually caught and identified as 53 year old tyson pelanconi and 44 year old brenda carlieralifornia. ( darya ) in santa clara... police want to know if you recognize this person. he is described as a person of interest... captured by a surveillance camera outside a home on white drive .... where a gun was stolen. the victim tells police, someone broke into his home last thursday afternoon.... and the thieves made off with a glock- 9 millimeter handgun and ammunition. the homeowner suspects the burglars were a group of teenagers. police are worried the gun could be used to committ another crime. ( darya ) there is more trouble for the millennium tower in san francisco. over the weekend, a large piece of exterior glass on the 36th floor... cracked. san francisco building inspectors determined the crack was not a threat to those walking below. building management says it thinks the cracking has to do with ongoing issues of the sinking and tilting of millennium tower. so far there have been no other complaints from residents regarding cracked glass.
