andy brenner saying they will cut rates sometime this year. larry, do you think that will happen? >> well, i do think there will be one rate hike this year. i thought that all along and i think we will see one and it will pause. i think the whole question has been what's going to happen when they pause. after the last rate hike we saw, fed funds were priced in less than one for 2019 so we're not that far away from that. right now, pricing in zero. i do believe we will see one. i think the market will get comfortable with that once the s&p 500 rallies another 5%. liz: okay. scott, we got a great number on labor, we got to run right now, two seconds. 312,000 jobs created in the month of december. can the fed really afford to pause? should they? yes or no. >> i don't think they are going to cut. i think they might pause and they will watch the stock market, same way when we were 10% lower, all of a sudden they tried to back off, like what larry said, if all of a sudden we are close to 2700, they are going to raise it once. they are definitely seeing what the market action's like. liz
