it is not directly represent brent -- replacing brent, but it is supplying american markets quite well that means that foreign oil is more than enough for the markets. that is what we appear to be seeing. that is why you see brent at about $104. >> integral in that argument as well is, as far as iraq is concerned, they are not off-line. it is whether they can grow over the next two to three years. there was another amazing story on saturday, which was putin congratulating the relationship between exxon and rosneft. they are about to start this big exploration. what do you make of that? is this putin had his finest? >> i think so. it is a couple of things. first off, the well that they are drilling is not just any well. people are talking about this as the most important well to be drilled this year in the world. $700 million being spent on it for an exploratory well in the arctic. if they find oil, this is a big deal. this could open the treasure trove of arctic resources. it is a big deal for the russians that are trying to expand production. it is a big deal for exxon. >> they need t

in fact, brent is at one of its lowest levels of the year? have thought against this back drop? >> right. i mean, the fundamental support lowered oil prices, and when you think of what's going on geopolitically, most likely the last thing that any country's going to do is cut off their oil supplies, whether it be iraq, whether it be russia, whether it be anything in the middle east. all those countries rely those oil revenues. so, that's the last thing they're going to do. brent is actually very interesting because it broke some significant levels today. we've been trading in a range for the last couple years, really. now we're starting to get that breakdown. that could be significant in the oil markets. >> we've got to think through the consumer impact already, but sharon -- all right, so, we closed just below $103 for brent. are we going below $100? >> it looks like we could perhaps go below $100, but what's more interesting for the consumer is gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, they're at four-year lows for this time of year. when you look at the

when you look at brent and dubai, they're in tango right now. >> so the $5 below current levels call, what time frame are we looking at? >> i'm thinking this contract, i'm thinking by the end of this contract. so another month. >> if you are saying this is a seasonal thing that happens in the 4th quarter, you would see can tango, is it deeper? what does this tell you? >> it's not as deep as it's been in the past before, but it's certainly there and that does tell me this probably will happen. you don't see that in the wti market, which is surprising, wti would be least affected by geopolitical concerns at this point. you look at the supply, there is about $200 million barrels in the golf waiting to have something done, i think geopolitical is holdings up a bit, i don't think it will last. >> basically to wrap up that conversation of whether it's heading. am i looking just for weather to be my next catalyst? a crude weather play? >> can we see abnormally cooler temperatures? >> even hurricanes. even looking at the weather forecast, there is an interesting phenomenon where the hurricane
