well, 3 months in hayward in the 30's, oakland at 37 degrees, pittsburgh, brentwood in concord, each at 40 right now in santa rosa city at 35 along with napa at that same number again. watch for those patches of dense fog inland. you're seeing some of that as a foe this morning. but the worst of it is away from the bay for those inland areas where we have been seeing a bad impact from it really over the past few days. so this is nothing new for those areas, seeing it. but it will have a bit of an effect and visibility as you're driving into work. current temperatures mostly in the 30's. daytime highs today only reaching the low to mid 50's and some of us further inland only in the upper 40's for the state. i'm eyes. i'll give you the full breakdown of what to expect as we go. as far as our bridges this morning, we are seeing conditions out there. nice and light on the bay bridge. it's nice to see that on monday morning. hopefully traffic stays that way this week as it is a week of a holiday looking out at the san mateo bridge. we're also seeing light conditions. richmond center fell

looking at brentwood as you head off for work this morning, it's one where you have to blast the heater in the vehicle down to 32 degrees at sunrise and then starting to see those temperatures slowly warming up. it will be a sunny day but will only make it up to the mid-50s this afternoon and we'll see about the same tomorrow, mid-50s once again. we do have more of these really cold temperatures that will continue at least for the morning. the afternoons do get slightly milder. still no rain all the way up until next tuesday. that's when it looks like we will have a chance of some rain and sierra snow and another storm system possibly behind that and i know that's right in time for a lot of people to travel heading into christmas. we could be dealing with some wet weather. we're putting that in the extended forecast. in the near term it's clear, it's cold. look at these mornings. we will see freezing temperatures from now through at least monday and then on tuesday is when the clouds move in. for san francisco it's only in the low 50s today. even there we're dropping into the upper 30s.

it was another weekend of sideshows this time in the east bay in brentwood. police confirmed the sideshow happened on the intersection of sand creek road and highway for around 2.30 this morning. they estimate about 75 cars were involved. the activity was contained in less than an hour. no injuries were reported at the scene. on the peninsula. hundreds of guns were collected during a gun buyback event in san mateo county. a total of 288 guns were collected of those 6 were assault weapons and 18 were ghost guns. the san mateo county sheriff says these programs are meant to help make the county safer. people who turn over their guns got up 200 bucks depending on the type of gun additional gun buyback events are being planned for next year. and the northbank fema awarded sonoma county 6 million dollars to help with wildfire prevention. the money will go towards making certain buildings. more fireproof. it will also be used to help clear vegetation and create defensible space around homes. more than 300,000 acres burned in sonoma county between 2017 2020. the fla
