bresnahan. rep. bresnahan: last month, i had the pleasure to visit the pennsylvania farm show where i got to speak with some of these farmers and producers from all over the commonwealth & everything from milkshakes to apple cider, potato doughnuts and deep fried mushrooms. it was truly remarkable to hear just how much work goes into bringing these products from the farm to our tables. just as remarkable was here and how many of these farms were family owned and multigenerational. the most common thread that i hear from farmers while traveling around my district in northeastern pennsylvania is the desire to keep their family farm in the family and pass it down to the next generation. this speaks directly to me as i am a third generation family business owner. i went from first generation to third generation in the heavy highway electrical space, so i am new to agriculture, but understand the significance of what we do here and appreciate all of your testimony here today because it does speak heavily
