the allegations in that letter concern an incident when bret kavanagh was in high school. did not do this in high school or tnt. a class might was also mentioned in the letter. he's been tracked down. the classmate denies the allegations. the letter containing the allegations was sent to senator feinstein. the fbi says it since has received it from feinstein and added the letter containing these allegations to kavanagh's background file in the white house, that means the white house and 100 u.s. nerts now have access to the letter in person if they want to see it. although the woman's name, the accuser's name is redacted. chuck grassley says he has not read the letter even though he has access to it. this thing really is down to the wire now. the judiciary committee is scheduled to vote on the confirmation in less than a week. if they vote him out of party lines it would go to the chamber. if democrats voted no they would still need two republicans to vote no. one of the two republicans, the democrats have been trying to persuade is senator clips of maine. after that hour-
