bret baier. i'm glad you are here.et's start with a little bit on the president's speech there, when he was talking about all the things being done at the va but also just the tone and tenor of the crowd. they seem to really love him. >> they do and they did. and this is the vfw speech, a little different than the campaign stump speech. but for this president they kind of meld together. he loves that moment and he kind of riffs off of the teleprompter and does his own thing. he went a lot of different avenues. but for the most part the message was, the va, we are turning it around and we are changing. how that is operated, the veterans affairs department, and also honoring the vets in that room. i thought that was an interesting moment with that 94-year-old world war ii veteran, allen, who came up. and at the president has this touch with interacting with people on the stage and in the crowd. >> dana: indeed, it was definitely some of his best moments during his presidency. i mentioned the meet ups to this in introduct
