brett, let me start with you.rt three days of debate preparation today so, at this point what do you think he has to do to win this next debate and how important it is for him? >> i think this debate is everything for him. mow the first debate was by all accounts a tragedy for the president. the polls turned around. i think he's got to get in the game. so, you know, this happens frequently with incumbent presidents who don't take the presidential debates as seriously as they should. it happened back in 2004 when george bush didn't perform as well in his first debate and he did actually come back. so we'll see if the president can do the same. >> you coached romney, brett. how would you approach him if you were the president and what would you say are his weak spots? >> well, both men are not very good when they get on the defensive. so, you know, both have to be on the offense. but that's tricky in a town hall debate because the audience is also a participant in the debate and so i think going too strongly on offe

brett ehrlich has more.> mitt romney is still taking it from all sides over this 47% remark. most recently city worker's union, ask me released a video where mitt's garbage man tells him to shove it. it's not just mitt romney's attitude. it's the stuff that mitt throws away that frustrates him. he throws away money because it is too wrinkly. >> picking up 15 16 tons by hand that's takes a toll on your body. >> and the romney trash is particularly heavy. they throw out about 500 disposable cups per year, but the romneys throw away golden disposable cups. >> jennifer: thank you all for joining us here in "the war room." 36
