(steve) according to the study, n- f-l players have a 38-percent higher risk of dying younger compared with those who played in only a few games. the study was published today in the journal of the american medical association. it's authors caution that the mortality rate difference was statistically insignificant, meaning further studies are needed. but they say the study still raises key questions about the safety of the sport. (pam) the doping bans on 28- russian athletes were overturned today. the decision puts the international olympic committee's policy on russian doping into a frenzy, just a week before the winter olympics in south korea. the ban was originally put in place in 2014... during the 2014 sochi winter games. the 'court of arbitration for sport' upheld the appeals of athletes at that time.... but today's ruling means, the athletes' 2014 results are reinstated... and they can look to compete
