ktvu's brian flores joining us live in alameda. how hard would it be to find a seat? one, brian? >> reporter: yeah, if you left now, dave. the earlier the better. things are looking pretty good at the alameda main street ferry terminal right now. when we arrived here about 5:00, 5:10 this morning, there was only one person in line. that number has since increased to maybe about 35 people in line. a lot of people heeding that message to get here early to make sure that they do get a seat and find a parking lot as well which many of them have. the san francisco bay ferry will be running 11 boats this morning taking people from here to san francisco and vice versa. a normal service, there's typically eight ferries that run. san francisco bay ferries expecting a 15% increase during the closure. some riders we're speaking with this morning are saying they're actually surprised there isn't a longer line. >> i'm expecting another busy day, maybe not as busy because our trains are running which is great but i'm surprised that there aren't more people here now. maybe i could ha
