we have brian hoyer with wedge partners. -- brian blair with wedge partners. >> the last time they diddid not go anywhere. >> they are still tied up in the course but i think this is a real effort to put all the legal battles behind him. it's a distraction for both companies. they're spending money that could be going into products. i want to get this behind us. they want to focus on their own products and hopefully that will happen. >> is it possible? >> there is a lot of bad blood but of both parties have to come to the table with a solution in mind, it would be great not to hear about them being tied up in court. they can then focus on what is coming next from each company. when you talk to these companies, they say they would rather not be doing this. they wound up in this position and tim cook has said he hates litigation. samsung feels the same way. there are a lot of law firms who are very happy to continue. right, many would like to see it happen. my prediction is it will end this year and we will stop hearing about it. licensing agreements will be worked out and sam sang -- sa
