brian kelly, steve, anthony and guy. first let's get straight to our top story. speculating on this rally. should you be terned about what is actual ly. >> what's different today is the blue chips are not performing well. and that's walmart so you cannot have a sustainable move without the generals. >> take a look at some of the individual names leading the rally. all of double digits in threw months. that could bring up caterpillar which has underperformed for the last 24 months. i understand what he is saying and you always have to have. >> what do you make of this move of the more speculative names? >> they are being driven by liquidity so i think the market is going a little faster than people expected because i don't think the fed is going to taper as quickly as people suggest. a 10 million dollar tape ser not much of a taper. i think that is what is affecting the markets right now. you look at the ma crow economic environment. you don't see the growth there. that has got to be driving some people to be getting to the sidelines. >> just to touch on that, eem

i'm back with alan young and brian kelly. alan, you raised your forecast of the stock market substantially because you probably figured that with janet yellen running the fed, the fed funds interest rate which has been at zero for five years probably won't go up for a little less than 100 years, 2103 i tweeted it today. you're expecting easy money forever and let's buy stocks. >> have to say, i think there's less concern on our investment policy committee about tapering and that hawkishness. although there's a lot of things we look at, there's no question that, you know, a slightly more incrementally more dovish fed outlook allows you to assign higher pe multiples and a big part -- we were at 1780 for a target on the s&p a year from now. we went to 1845. >> by when? >> september of '14. >> okay. still be doing quantitative easing and the fed funds rate will still be zero. but, brian, will there be economic growth and profits because i still believe profits are the mother's milk of stocks. >> well, profits are the mother's mil

brian kelly? interesting market to hold on to? >> exactly. what was really interesting is last night when it was announced, you would think if you're going to get a dovish bet, gold should have ripped today but it didn't. the dow jones and the s&p come back. to me it was not a great close at all. >> 1%. if you told me friday afternoon, i don't think most of us would agree with that. so you had a little funny business going on there. for the most part, i actually thought even though we closed 40 bips off the highs, stocks didn't close that badly. some of if names that are probably benefitting or the global growth trade pretty well. i don't think it was a disastrous close. >> steel stocks have been trading pretty well. u.s. steel, i think those trades are still pretty interesting. we talked about it. i will say this. i do think the s&p has got another 15 handles now. we are not going to make a run towards the 1710, 1715 level. this is getting long in the tooth here. i think you have to find opportunities. >> are we to glean from the movements t
