news 4's brian mooar joins us live from capitol hill with more on this breaking news. brian, how much do we know? >> reporter: what we know in the indictment which has just been unsealed, let me tell you, it's chilling. the plot was to unfold here in the nation's capital at a well-known restaurant which isn't named but attended frequently by the ambassador to the united states from saudi arabia. as well as numerous u.s. members of congress. one of the plotters was supposedly told that if this bombing took place in this restaurant, then more than 100 people could be injured or killed. he supposedly let loose with an expletive and said that so be it, that's what has to be done. we do know that one of the suspects is being held in new york at this hour. he was arrested last month. while going from mexico back to the united states. apparently what he was trying to do there was set up a deal with a mexican drug cartel. the drug cartel member that they were trying to pay to carry out this bomb plot, he turned out to be an informant for the u.s. drug enforcement administration
