that was the theme here today, and no one has overcome maura adversity than brian. stow the guy that you remember 10 years ago, was almost killed when he was beaten at dodger stadium. he's had years and months of recovery and rehab and was able to throw out the first pitch today. then it was, you know the things that we're used to seeing in a san francisco opener, fireboats flyovers all that and then the. words that we were waiting for. the woman's name is reese osterberg. she lost her baseball cards and some of the fires that hit northern california last year. she got her cards reimbursed and gave them to some other people. this was ah, a scoreless game until the seventh inning. kind of not that many highlights. one of the highlights was charlie blackmon of the rockies, not liking a called third strike called tau. johnny cueto, the giant pitcher. hey did was not around to see another at bat. so then it was still scoreless in the bottom of the seventh of giants. manager, only one hit. brandon crawford came to the plate with the bases loaded in one out and hit one in that
