brian sullivan is live in centerville, ohio.a, let's start with you. >> well, it is really remarkable that this is even considered a battleground state because it has been red for a long, long time. in fact, the last time arizona went for a democratic president was in 1996 when it went for bill clinton. but this year hillary clinton is giving donald trump a run for the money. the polls show that donald trump has resurged a little bit in terms of voter support. but still the question remains what will turn out due for these two presidential candidates. with me today is the secretary of state michelle reagan. give me a sense about early voting turnout and what you're seeing in terms of arizonans coming out to vote? >> we have seen a really high number of early votes, already mailed in. and about 1.7 million so far already collected. and the breakdown is roughly about 40% of those have been republican voters, 34% democrat and about 26% other. >> i know you're still waiting for the final numbers because there was early voting. in an

. >> it is brian sullivan back in new jersey. i'm not going to take anything away from this historic deal, not going to take anything away from the 9% jump we're seeing in oil. it is a big deal. however, as you know and our audience knows, oil was higher three weeks ago. it was back above 50 back in july. is the u.s. increase in production, all those rig counts we talk about every week, mitigating the effects of this opec cut because it is not as if oil is at 75 a barrel. still just at 49. >> the u.s. numbers up recently have to do with seasonal tendencies. can go back and look at 15 years of data, you'll see normal fourth quarter rise. and that's fine, that's expected. the issue with the u.s., even before the price of oil tanked two years ago, had to do with whether u.s. production was going to be able to grow, really u.s. reduction would grow after 2017. the pullback in prices is the drop in activity means the best days for the u.s. are behind us. >> you and i have been -- between us, 45 years worth of meetings. i can't believe

and our own brian sullivan joins us from centerville. morning, bri. >> good morning, everyone. bill's doughnuts. named world's best doughnuts by a magazine. who knew. as ohio so goes the country. they say that for good reason. ohio has not correctly predicted the president only twice. 1944 and 1960. in the last six elections we had obama, obama, bush, bush, clinton, clinton. so ohio has had a roll through. it's an interesting state as you know. it is a very big states. it's also a very geographically centered state. if you look at a map of the results, there are 88 counties in ohio. only 16 of them went to president obama in 2012 but that was enough for victory. so you can see the majority of the state does lean to the right. the population centers, cleveland, columbus, cincinnati. joe, you might have heard of cincinnati. toledo and also around here. tend to go democrat as well. again, we're going to find out. we were happy to get here last night. little bit late, but we got here last night. went out to a local bar. we asked people who they were going to vote for. i tell you th
