cnn's brian todd reports. >> reporter: he was alternately hiding, running, and fathering children inars after 9/11. new details of osama bin laden's life on the run have emerged, given by his youngest wife. according to a pakistani police interrogation document obtained by cnn, she told police that she and her family lived in pakistan for almost all of 29 1/2 years between the september 11 attacks and bin laden's death. consistently during those years, pakistani leaders said this about bin laden's whereabouts -- >> i don't think that osama bin laden is in pakistan. >> reporter: the interrogation report filed in january is paraphrased by a police official. the report has her saying the family lived in at least five locations in pakistan after 9/11 in at least five safe houses. according to the report, she says right after 9/11, her family scattered. she says she went from the area around kandahar, afghanistan to karachi, pakistan. in 2002, she says she went to here, reunited with bin laden there. then the family went to sawat in pakistan, stayed there for eight or nine months. in 2003

i want to bring in brian todd in washington. brian, the secret service, very much responding to the latest allegations. what are they saying? >> the secret service in response specifically to that kiro report said this, the recent investigation in cartagena generated several news story that is contain allegations by mostly unnamed sources and any information brought to our attention that can be assessed as credible will be followed up on in an appropriate manner. i am told separately by a congressional source, though, brooke, who says that the secret service has indicated that it is looking into that el salvador incident, according to a source i have spoken to that goes beyond what that statement says there. we're also told by a congressional source as well to back up some of what you said earlier, that there have been reports that have been brought to congress of past incidents involving the secret service. some of this may be just getting into the open right now. >> tell me, brian, what more we know about what these secret serv

we have details from brian todd. >> reporter: a congressional source tells cnn reports of misbehavior beyond the colombia incident have been brought to congress. kiro tv cites a u.s. government contractor who worked extensively with the secret service advance team saying he was with about a dozen secret service agents and some u.s. military personnel a few days before president obama's visit to el salvador last year. the source says they were at a strip club where members of the american team drank heavily, that most of them paid extra for access to a vip section where they were provided sexual favors in return for cash. this is from one unnamed source and cnn cannot independently confirm the allegations. the secret service issued a statement saying any information brought to our attention that can be assessed as credible will be followed up on in an appropriate manner. i asked defense attorney jeffrey jacobowitz -- are you nervous right now? >> if you're the head of the agency you're very nervous. this is the kind of publicity you do not want. >> reporter: "the washington post" repor
