what is your take on this so briana, i respect jim. we were colleagues at doj. i disagree on the presidential records act itself as a defense in this case for two main reasons. the first reason is the facts. there is zero evidence from donald trump, from anyone around him that he ever actually designated these records as personal and i think notably, none of his lawyers have ever represented to a court that he actually designated these documents as personal. and i heard jim say, well, there's not a procedure for that, but you have to do something. there would be some evidence of that, and then separately, i think there's a legal problem with it, which is first of all, a president cannot designate any records he wants as personally cannot designate highly sensitive military documents, national security documents, as personal, and take them. and finally, even if he could eat, doesn't trump no pun intended. it doesn't overcome the criminal law against retaining sensitive national security information. so even if this gets to be a defense at trial, i think there's n

jeremy tell us about this initial report from israel and the steps that are being taken well, brianand six months of war, we have never seen the israeli military carry out such a thorough and public >> accounting of its actions, of its killing of civilians in the gaza strip, as we are now over the killing of these seven aid workers, six of whom were foreigners. in this israeli military terry strike earlier this week, the israeli military in its report today on its findings of its investigation, saying that commanders involved in these strikes violated military protocols and made errors in decision-making. they lay out a timeline of how this all unfolded, saying that it started when an israeli drone picked up what they say is a gunman on top of one of these aid trucks that was part of this convoy. once the convoy alongside three vehicles with these seven staffers arrived at a warehouse from there, the israeli military commanders began making very wrong and very deadly assumptions. believing that the gunman was actually in one of these vehicles that rather than humanitarian aid staffer

>> well, briana would stood out to me about today's oral arguments. is that texas win on the defensive, telling the court that had reached the wrong conclusion last week when it blocked the law. now, that was a two-to-one vote. and in the majority opinion, the chief justice practically said that this law was unconscious. institutional, but texas argued that texas is dealing with an unprecedented migrant crisis that the federal government is not doing enough. and so the state of texas is taking matters into its own hands, and that's when texas said and maybe texas has gone a little too far, but then texas argue that if there were aspects of this law that we're invalid, that the court could actually strike those aspects of the law down. now, one of the aspects that has been very controversial is the deportation clause. and i want to read you what the law actually says because it's important. it says quote, on a person's conviction and order requiring the person to return to the foreign nation from which the person entered or attempted to enter, that sou
