bridge. we are getting reports of a number of bodies being seen on the bridge. none of these reports are confirmed yet. >> we go to robert who is an westminster. >> i'm with alan perry who is from sky sports news who was meant to be meeting with someone. what did you see? >> i was walking along the pavement along big bend and parliament just outside westminster underground station when i i heard an almighty crah and a vehicle, it looked like a four by four, on the opposite side of the road, it crashed into the railings, there are's smoke coming from this vehicle. i walked down a few paces further and saw what i assumed to be either a pedestrian or cyclist who had clearly been hit and wasn't moving, although then he did gently move for a couple of seconds. the guy who i assume was the driver got out of the car and suddenly sprinted away from the scene and that was followed by what sounded like gunshots to me. all of a sudden, all hell was let loose. police dissented everywhere, the whole area

so i then moved up into the middle of the bridge, looked further down the south side of the bridge andere were also bodies, people lying on the floor on the western pavement. when i spoke to someone who had clearly been on the bridge at the time of the incident they said that a car had mounted the pavement, or a vehicle, and literally driven the whole way from south to north, up the bridge, knocking people over. i counted eight people the length of the bridge from south to north, at least eight. one was clearly in a sort of shocked moment, so you are not quite sure what is going on, but as i looked up and down they were being tended to. as i was standing there, an ambulance came over, landed in parliament square and out came an incredible number of security personnel, both obviously from the ambulance service, paramedics, but also suddenly plain clothes people, people with masks on, people with machine guns. the quantity of armed personnel arriving was very significant very quickly. then as i looked there were vehicles arriving from the embankment, both police vehicles, vehicles with l

a vehicle starting from this side of the bridge at speed crossing over westminster bridge toward the palace of westminster, the seat of british government. apparently according to eyewitnesses mowing down people as the vehicle went. people being caught under the wheels of that vehicle and knocked off to the side. that's why we have so many ambulances on the bridge here treating injured. they've been coming off the bridge and going to nearby hospital to treat those injured. metropolitan police say injuries are into the double digits. the hospital implying that calf strof -- catastrophic some of those injuries. there's a fence around british parliamentary building on this side there's not huge numbers of massive stops as there are in the front. that vehicle veered toward the fence on the far side of this bridge. the attacker seemingly the same person driving that vehicle has exited the vehicle, gone around to the front gate where there's normally three or four police vehicle stationed there. being moved out of the way to let another vehicle through. unprecedented level of police here.

this bridge, lambeth bridge was easy to walk across. there's police presence on the end of the bridge, but walking across it, i was allowed to just kind of saunter across, and as i mentioned earlier, a lot of the people that i'm seeing on the streets here, they're not panicked. public transportation except for in the areas immediately around the attack seem to be functioning rather normal. everybody seems to be filing out of their offices, and heading home, and it's not entirely clear whether they were let out early for the day or walking around as normal but it's a striking juxtaposition between the huge police presence that descended on the areas just on the entryways to the bridges, and to the streets surrounding the houses of parliament, and the faces and the expressions of people who are walking by who just seemed as though this is a regular day, even as there are emergency vehicles with their sirens wailing driving by and there are helicopters swirling overhead, there are even emergency boats on the river moving bean and forth, re

the bridge we're standing on delaware river turnpike bridge. that was -- crews were supposed to finish the work here for april reopening. good news, finished late last night. much to dliet of tens of thousands of drivers. sky force ten over the bridge last night as the first of the drivers made their way across it after weeks of being shutdown. been shutdown since january 20. we learned that repair crews worked seven days a week to reopen the busy bridge that connects bucks county with burlington county in new jersey. a crack was found back in january. so to ensure it is now safe for drivers, they ran a test by having trucks carrying 40 tons drive over the bridge. we found most drivers pretty happy about the early opening. >> burlington borristle bridge. i've been late almost every day. >> we found one person who surprisingly was not late every day. delivery driver in the area. said without the more than 40 thousand commuters using the bridge every day and just overall being in the area, that the roads were a lot freer for him to travel and abl

bay bridge wb 80 is smooth into san francisco. no problems on the san mateo bridge. wb 580 & nb 101 ( darya ) we are now hearing from a man who says he was also roughed up by the vallejo police officer caught on camera violently arresting someone. we first brought you this story over the weekend. the incident happened friday afternoon near a valero gas station. an employee said a man, 23- year-old dejuan hall, was acting erratically and scaring customers. after a short chase, hall sat down on the median in the middle of the street. the video then shows the officer punching him and hitting him with a flashlight several times. a man who spoke to kron four says he recognized the officer in the video, saying that officer was also aggressive when asking to search him. ( darya ) at one point in the video, you can see the arresting officer pull
