we started to see an uptick in traffic across our bay area bridges including the bay bridge. this graphic from the transit authority lays it all out. they compare week day traffic volume between march and may. obviously, many cars were on the road a year ago but you can see the line for 2020 is trending up. chopper 5 over the final days of the express lane on the bay area freeways has another change coming down the tropic volume is increasing. they say tolls will resume starting next week and they were suspended in march because of shelter-in-place orders but at 5 am on monday, drivers will have to start paying again on 580 and 680 and 237. definitely, it will get busier on the roadways and we are dealing with some fog as we look at the golden gate bridge but you can see traffic is okay as far as cars go but there is limited visibility and an advisory in effect so give yourself a few extra minutes and go slightly slower. there are body conditions along 101 through the waldo grade. it is slower than usual. the road work has been cleared. take a look at traffic through the pass
