and it has been judge brinkley presiding over his case ever since. time, yes, mill has violated his probation numerous times. but the most recent charges, the ones he was sent to prison for were dropped. regardless he was sentenced to two to four years in prison by judge brinkley in november. going beyond the recommendation of even the probation officer and the prosecutor. her logic, that mill and his infractions had quote, thumbed his nose at her, according to court record. now his legal team has contended that brinkley's involvement in this case has gone into the realm of the personal. and they've called for her recusal several times. she of course has refused. but the state supreme court ruled this week that because mills' arresting officer from 2007 has an alleged history of corruption, that the rapper deserved both a new trial and release on bail. recommendations endorsed by the district attorney's office itself. to you folks at home, please understand i'm not condoning bad behavior and i hope mill can stay on the right side of the law moving fo
