director beach -- director brinkman? director brinkman: i was just looking at the budget -- bust collision data. to me, this ties in with the data. i would assume the a lot of those probably happen at intersections, and if we are working to sort out those intersections, then i know we had member consent if he meetings to go about looking at best practices for non signalized intersections, and i believe that this is quite expensive. it is going to be interesting. if we can find a way to organize those and get rid of them, would you agree that a lot of those are probably happening? >> we are still analyzing this, but we are looking at the bus stops, the near side and the far side, and the light turns green. across the intersection, you have people going around the bus, so we are looking at things like that. director brinkman: this is so the bus is not having to pull in and out of traffic. this does not mean that nothing -- nothing else goes forward until the environmental review process goes forward. we are still working o

. >> director brinkman has something, i think? >> two items. i think that we need to look at introducing more pilots before the november time line, which i believe is the eir of the market street plan. i do not want to leave it the way that it is. i am concerned over digging up transit on market street. >> the second is on enforcement. >> we have had an unfortunate number of pedestrian car interactions. i just wanted to make sure that the money we are spending on the work order is really being spent in a way that the public appreciates is going towards the safety of our streets, particularly pedestrian safety. i think it will help people to participate -- appreciate what the sfpd is doing for us. >> consent for hearings on both of those items? >> ok. >> thank you. >> i would like to follow up on a comment involving pedestrians safety. in the summer of 2010 there was an executive order from the mayor on safety. one of the items that was talked about was creating 15 mile per hour sounds it within schools. to date we have not implemented any of th

i was pleased to be joined by chairman nolan as well as director cheryl brinkman and leona bridges. we discussed the investments that we have made in san francisco as well as it relates to investment -- transportation. i'm available for any questions and that concludes my report. >> members of the board? >> i wanted to comment on the park. i am looking forward to that. i know there are several cities and we are really on the cutting edge of parking technology in this country. there are several cities that actually sold the rights to their parking and they are letting outside companies set the fees and decide how to manage their parking. we are taking control of it. therefore, we are managing our revenue. this is probably better than the cities to our outsourcing this. i am looking forward to that very much.
