it happened as two drivers were getting off the highway in bristol township. walter perez is live outside of the bristol township police department with the latest. >> reporter: investigators say that the victims are shaken but amazingly not injured and now the hope is that someone comes forward with information to help get the gunman off the streets. >> the whole thing unfolded a bit past 5:00 last evening when two vehicles were exiting i-95 on to route 413 in bristol township. the aggressive vehicle screamed at the passenger saying pull your window down and the guy lifted up what looked like a .45 caliber pistol. and they quickly drove away and the gunman was aggressive in the moments leading up to the shooting by flashing the high beams and following closely behind the victims up to the traffic light at the exit. both rounds hit the vehicle and one pierced a rear white quarter panel and one in the rubber lining in the window. and there is only one to describe the person sitting in the passenger seat. >> extremely lucky if the door did not stop the round he

nbc10's matt delucia joins us live from the bristol township police department. walk us through what happened. >> reporter: first off, police are trying to still find this shooter. right now all they have a description of the vehicle and a vague description of that shooter. they're hoping that someone saw something yesterday afternoon. take a look at the vehicle type that police are looking for. this is what the suspect vehicle looks like. it's not the same one, but bristol township police are looking for a 2003 buick rendezvous suv. same color and tire rims as you see in the photo. this is what the victim told police. it was yesterday afternoon, a little before 5:00. he and a passenger were exiting i-95 to 413 in bristol when someone pulled up and screamedamescream eed at them to lower the window. when they did, shots were fired. two shots in all. fortunately no one was hit, just the car. the metal and rubber trim along the car were able to stop the bullets from going through it. so fortunate situation there. it is unclear what started this argument in the first
