brittany morehouse has the story. >> you have a cop that is selectively enforcing the laws. >> reporter: in this neighborhood near mount vernon square, there was one common complaint. it's the kind of scenario he says he faced up close yesterday afternoon. >> i pulled on to 4th street right by the 395 tunnel and watched a homeless dude start peeing in the tree box. >> reporter: he says stopped in the lane next to him was a police officer. >> so i threw it in neutral and set the parking brake and knocked on the cops door and said there is a dude peeing in the tree box. are you going to do anything. he's doing, what, he's peeing? leave him. he's fine. and i was just in shock. >> reporter: oddly enough, that's the reason why months ago he said he moved away from dc. his house was broken into. >> basically they came in through the alley. >> reporter: and he thought it could have been prevented. >> i had reported peeing in the alleys and drug use in the alleys before multiple times. and still never saw a cop in the alley. >> reporter: he is sharing the story on the community blog where some
