fox 6's brittany shannon live from downtown with their reaction to the district attorney's decision. jay anderson's family learned earlier today the wauwatosa officer that shot and killed him, will not face charges. as you can imagine, extreme disappointment and sadness from family the family says their meeting with district attorney john chisholm was rescheduled from last week to today. they say chisholm told the family there was no evidence to charge the wauwatosa officer that shot and killed anderson back in june. police claim anderson had a gun but family members say they are skeptical about the police investigation -claiming a lack of transparency. the fbi also provided new dashcam video of the shooting to the family but they say it still leaves many unanswered questions. anderson's fiance says she wants some acc happened... "i feel sick to my stomach knowing he will be back on the force but my daughter will never get to see her dad again. it's not right." attorney john safran says he has contacted the us attorney's office to launch a federal investigation into the case. now, th

fox 6's brittany shannon was with the anderson family-- who spoke earlier this afternoon. we start with bret lemoine-- he's live at the wauwatosa police department where the police chief just finished speaking. wauwatosa police have provided us with a copy of the district attorneys dcision not to pursue charges against the officer in this in it, theres an official narrative of the events that transpired during the early morning hours of june 23-rd. investigators say the officer was patrolling madison park after it had closed. the officer approached jay anderson, who appeared to be sleeping in his car. the officer noticed a semi-automatic firearm on the passenger seat. after viewing the gun, the officer took out his firearm and ordered anderson to put his hands in the air. anderson, meanwhile, allegedly lowered his arm to officer then fired his gun, shooting anderson. there are 28 seconds of video recorded of this incident - there are no other witnesses except for the officer and this video. wauwatosa police chief barry weber says the officer underwent counseling and has be

fox 6's brittany shannon tells us how school officials in burlington found out before it was too late. a racine county middle school kill list uncovered. a criminal complaint stating 15-year-old jasminne piechocki and her boyfriend 14-year-old darryl roeschen made a kill list. they are students at karcher middle school in burlington. girl's mother saw a facebook conversation between her daughter and roeschen. in it, darryl asks, do you want me to kill them all? jasminne respons yes. darryl: need a list court documents show-- piechocki proceeds to send a list of six names. one of them being her father. the complaint states the girls who then talked to the students who admitted to having a physical relationship. piechocki also admitting to having a "dark mind" thinking about people being slaughtered, eaten, tortured and even stabbed. the boyfriend told school officials he thought it was all a joke and he played along to please his girlfriend. school administrators found a pair of scissors in the boyfriends backpack on tuesday. the complaint says he admitted to stealing them from a teach

fox 6's brittany shannon tells us how school officials in a racine county middle school kill list uncovered. a criminal complaint stating 15-year-old jasminne piechocki and her boyfriend 14-year-old darryl roeschen made a kill list. they are students at karcher middle school in burlington. we went to piechocki's address where the complaint states the girl's mother saw a facebook conversation between her daughter and roeschen. kill them all? jasminne respons yes. darryl: need a list court documents show-- piechocki proceeds to send a list of six names. one of them being her father. the complaint states the girls mother told school officials who then talked to the students who admitted to having a physical relationship. piechocki also admitting to having a "dark mind" thinking about people being slaughtered, eaten, tortured and even thought it was all a joke and he played along to please his girlfriend. school administrators found a pair of scissors in the boyfriend's backpack on tuesday. the complaint says he admitted to stealing them from a teacher with the intent to harm himself--but never

fox 6's brittany shannon live with officials here at the dpw say the tough this with this snow...is it has not let up for quite some time. so trucks have been out and about since yesterday, salting and plowing... there have been close to 300 pieces of equipment on the roads today. officials say they have been concentrating on the main roadways and also passing through the side streets. the important thing for people to know this evening is the dpw has called for an overnight snow removal operation. this means drivers who park on 48 hour exception streets must park on the odd side of the street b this evening. drivers must then park on the even side of the street by 11 pm monday.
