with chief meterologist brittney shipp. lawrence karnow: low clouds and fog hugging the coastline today but there was plenty of sunshine elsewhere. highs today were in the cool 50s and 60s at the beaches but we managed to find 70s and 80s inland. the sea breeze is blowing tonight and will carry the fog back along the coast and into the bay. we could see a few areas of patchy drizzle at the coast tonight too. high pressure will strengthen slightly over the weekend to warm the temperatures a few degrees. we're expecting cooler temperatures and more fog into the 4th of july.
