it is a busy morning at 11th and broadway. the fans are up early. we were here at 5 am this morning and a handful of people but look now with everybody out here trying to get the best vantage point they can. they want to cheer on the championship warriors. close to 1.6 million people are expected along the route which will start at 11th and broadway. the fans this morning will be met by plenty of security. you can see the barriers set up with no parking in the area. the prayed officials say there will be 20 police officers per block along the two mile route. they would not commit to the number of officers involved but said that all hands on deck. city officials are working with the chp to monitor the traffic along i 80. if there is a -- i-880. if there is a problem they can close more ramps, and the city officials are also setting up porta-potties and hydration stations for people to fill the water bottles. this morning it is all about the fans and we caught up with they super fan that is been here before and here's what he had to say. >> we are fro

look at the fun arch of balloons that just went up, and we are at eleventh and broadway. there will be 12 of these along the route. we are seeing a few early birds but there are plenty of prime parade watching space available if you want to head this way and get a spot. look at the crowd two years ago. they think this year could be bigger. there is a parade and then a rally, and officials are saying pick one, that it will be too crowded to move from one to the other. we talked to a couple women already here looking to make this a full, fun day. >> so far i'm awake. we only had 2 1/2 hours asleep and the reason i came was mostly to hangout with friends i don't see very often, and also to rub it into my son who is in england right now and a big warrior's fan. >> reporter: here's a list of what they do not want you to bring today, no bags larger than 16 x 16 x 8. folding chairs are not allowed, no alcohol or large poles or brooms or pop-up tents and no boats on lake merritt. that's where the rally will take place. police say they are working hard to make sure it's a safe eve

jana is live at broadway and grand. how's it going?reporter: ken and julie, i don't think i've seen oakland this happy. i mean, people have been going by, cheering. all you see are smiles on people's faces. some horns and firecrackers that we heard. but all of this is just a spillover. take a look at the video we shot at some watch parties in oakland. the warrior fans in the parties were cheering just as loudly as the crowds and oracle. the crowd started chanting mvp for kevin durant. many people said they are just so proud. >> i'm loving it! number one. champions. we deserve it. >> i am so excited. i've been a huge kevin tournament fan. whenever they lost the lead by 10, i got a little bit nervous. but i knew they were going to win it. >> reporter: after that game ended, fans poured out on to the street of downtown oakland. some said they just wanted to be a part of the victory for oakland and the bay area. >> the once in a lifetime opportunities, i had to support the team. i had to get out of my pjs and come down! woo hoo. >> reporte

broadway studios. her surveillance cameras are capturing the wild scenes on late weekend nights outside. >> a lot of the fights are between -- are women. which is strange. they are drunk. they yell at each other and they hit each other and fight the cops. >> reporter: san francisco police say they have a history of fights and aggravated assaults, loud music and a lot of the problems steps from their bottle service. it is getting people so drunk they cause a scene. >> you can stop serving when they are unbareiated. they have been out there weekend after weekend, month after month. they will ship up or shape out. >> reporter: the commission was considering whether to make the bar stop serving alcohol earlier or pull their license but the owner says wait a minute. he has looked that police records and believe they are exaggerated. >> some have absolutely nothing to do with you. some when you go in to do d tail -- detail, they are happening across the street. >> reporter: the entertainment commission decid
