so this is from mission street to broadway. this particular image highlights some of the travel lane changes that are necessary to be able to extend the two-way bikeway and to implement the pedestrian safety improvements along the stretch. so as a whole it's repurposing that third travel lane northbound and approaching the intersection we would maintain two left turn lanes on the broadway and provide for a short segment a single lane northbound. this is a pinch point along the corridor, along this segment, that necessitates some tradeoffs, but north of broadway we'd still have two travel lanes and south of this pinch point we'd still have two travel lanes. on washington street there's a short connection into the financial district with the road guide and a protected bikeway to link with the primary improvements on the embarcadero and as a whole, these areas together, these are the quick-build. in green to the south it's the right of the image here from fulsome to bryant. this is what is encompassed with a later capital phase st

that would return to two travel lanes north of broadway. as i talk about in a moment, there are some concerns from some stakeholders that may not work. we'll keenly focused on monitoring and watching that intersection in particular as well as the overall bikeway functions once implemented. you will see sort light green line on washington street between drum and embarcadero. that is a partial road -- it's meant to connect folks from the financial district from the bikeway and as well as funnelly bike traffic into the two-way bikeway from washington street. this short estretch is within the jurisdiction of the m.t.a. we'll be coming back to the board at a future date, perhaps august or september, assuming approval of the embarcadero changes. but that's the one piece of of this proposal that is in our jurisdiction. with that follow-up campaign phase, we'll be looking to extend south from folsom to bryant street. quickly summarizing those two planned phases for central embarcadero. we are actively looking to implement the quick build if it's ap
