do you recognize brodie?ast time we saw him. >> exactly. >> he feared the beard. >> how you doing? >> i got to bring it back. it's the only thing people notice me for. see if i can grow it by the late show. let's start with the story that came clear out of the blue this afternoon. we knew bud anderson was rehabbing the injury but today the team announced after the fact that he had successful tommy john surgery on his left throwing elbow. anderson was 3-6 with an e.r.a. of 4.0. will miss the rest of the season. typical recovers can last up to 18 months. >> hopefully he's in a position where he's going to be as good if not better, which you see a lot of pitchers coming out of this, as long as they rehab right and a lot of times the strength and velocity can go up. so you know, something that needed to be done. he explored all of the different avenues to potentially not have it done which you certainly can understand that. you don't want to have surgery unless you absolutely have to. this surgery is one that guy
