breaking news on the latest legionnaire cluster in the bronx. one person has died from that disease and the number of cases in morris park has jumped to ed ed 13 and this is also new. 15 cooling towers have now tested positive for the bacteria. john chandler is gathering details for us right now. john? >> chuck, that's right. this is the first death that is attributed to this cluster here in morris park and that has residents i spoke here in the bronx downright terrified over this developing situation. it has the city even with all of those new cooling tower regulations that went into act this past september has the city fighting to stay in control of this. >> we have a situation here in this broader community that i want to say at the outset is different than what we experienced a couple weeks back in the south bronx. >> calming fears in morris park, mayor bill deblasio made a as the number of cases grows, so do concerns. >> when i first heard of the cluster going on in the south bronx, i thought, there's going to be more. there is going to be

three more people have been diagnosed with legionnaires' disease in the bronx. that brings the total number of new cases to ten. >> several areas that have been tested positive for the bacteria have been tested. robert moses has more for us. >> reporter: good morning to you. one of the towers to test positive was here at lehman high school. we spoke to a to a security guard here and he said personnel were here very late disinfected. the department of education says, yes it has been disinfected, the, the air-conditioning has been shut off, there is no risk to students or staff. it appears normal school day lies ahead. classes are going on as usual at lehman high school in the bronx even though cooling tower tested positive for the legionnaire bacteria. seventy-five towers that were tested have come back positive. the health commissioner ordered them all to be immediately disinfected. on a conference call they said all of the affected towers had been clean this summer in accordance with her orders. >> conditions can change. bronx has now grown to ten cases from se
