brooks: i am brooks in for glenn richards. lot of rain. good news is we are going to see clearing skies overnight tonight. you can leave the umbrella at home tomorrow. outside is 64 degrees cloudy and wet in orlando. a lot of green on the screen. that just means steady, moderate rain. we are also seeing pockets of yellow and orange, that's heavier rain talking about seminole and volusia county and eastern orange and pruverdict. volusia county seeing heavy south. it will be a wet evening. hour, we will start to see clearing skies rapidly clearing skies and tomorrow looks great, again we still have a few more hours of rain to get through. man, a lot of rain, too. a lot of folks have already picked up 2.5 to three inches of rain in the last 72 hours. sunshine returns tomorrow. high clouds with a mild weekend on tap. it looks like we are going to have three, four, maybe five consecutive days with dry conditions and then back to the 80s come monday. outside right now not only do we have a lot of rain, but very low visibilities. later on tonight

i'm brook baldwin.rs are beginning to dig out of one of the biggest blizzards ever to hit the city. so many people made the slushy trek back to school, back to work today, but the clean-up is far from over. some areas were buried under 30 inches snow. boris sanchez is out in the thick of it. at least i'm seeing cleared sidewalks where you are. my highly technical term for today is mush, it's mushy. >> it's mushy and it is nasty on the street. for the most part this is a typical new york day. we're here on 31st and 8th near penn station. behind me, traffic is moving smoothly. food is cooking. tourists are moving around. things are relatively normal except for the fact there are giant piles of snow on the side of the street. slush on the street as well. it's a minor concern for officials because obviously as the sun sets and we get closer to freezing temperatures, that slush can freeze and turn to black ice and create problems for tomorrow. in terms of travel, the long island railroad is up to 80% capacit
