brookfield has gone from, like, strength to strength. if i was a martian meeting you for the first time, how would you describe your company? bruce: we invest in, buy, and own the backbone of global economy. when the water gets delivered to your house, the roads you drive on, the pipeline that brings different things to your community, the telecom towers that transmit your phone, the data center, the real estate that you live in. it's what we own and build. so it's really what drives the economy, and you don't often see our name. francine: is that a good or a bad thing? bruce: you know, it's just because we are behind the scenes. but it is big with $1 trillion of assets almost. we are behind a lot of the things of the global economy. francine: so being low-key, do you think it gives you strength? bruce: we just try to be quiet and do our thing, and sometimes it helps, and sometimes it doesn't. but i would say, on balance, it has been good for us. francine: so, you have been in charge for 22 years at brookfield. bruce: yes, it seems like

hi julia adams with brookfield.e project sponsor, so most of the, parking is a surface parking lots, and that will be transformed into the housing development that surrounds the mall, there is an underground garage currently, and we are maintaining that. so that's 250 spaces and also extending it as part of our, parking plan. so is it fair to say that all the parking that's there now is going to be preserved in the new development in some form or fashion? you're not reducing the total amount. we are reducing the total amount. we're putting, parking into the base of the residential buildings that we're building, we also have a garage in the north of the site, but all of the surface parking lot goes away and will be rebuilt as housing and structured parking instead. so it's being converted from. if i may jump in, if we're talking about residential parking as well, there is an increase in the what's out there today. how much of that will be preserved and how much new parking you're building for the housing development.

shares of the canadian parent company, brookfield business partners, have slumped 10% since the cyberattackegan. just down 10% in one week. auto dealer network one automotive said the cyber incident disrupted processes in the united states, but the dealerships continue to do business with alternative processes until the dealer systems are available. that is where dealerships were doing things with pen and paper. >> can you imagine? >>> u.s. prosecutors at this point are recommending to senior doj officials that criminal charges be brought against bowing according to the reuters report that they believe the planemaker violated the issues with the 2018 and 2019 crashes. they have to decide by july 7th whether to prosecute boeing. the two sides are in discussion over a resolution for the investigation. we'll get the latest on this story from phil lebeau later this hour. >>> eli lilly says it has applied for u.s. approval of its weight loss drug zepbound for the treatment of sleep apnea. the company released data from two substtudies on friday show zepbound reduced sleep apnea in almost 8100%.
