first, matt delucia is in haferton this morning on brookline boulevard, driving through the rain this morning. good morning, matt. >> reporter: good morning, bill. we are in storm force 10 on brookline boulevard here in havertown as we're getting ready to turn on to darby road. we can see a light mist out here through our windshield. the rain has pretty much eased up within the past 30 to 45 minutes, although we do have a little bit of wind in this area that we've been experiencing. a lot of those leaves still blowing off the trees. but we talk about today, and even though it's a wet day, people will be traveling for thanksgiving, and we understand from trip advisor, they're saying 27% of travelers plan to leave today, while only 24% plan to leave the day before thanksgiving. so, a lot of people on the roads expected today. we will be traveling here in storm force 10, but for now, we are live in delaware county. i'm matt delucia, nbc 10 news. >>> and i'm katy zachry. good monday morning, with a look at your traffic. there is an accident 95 northbound for drivers approaching the 476 ex

it happened on the metro branch trail in the brookline neighborhood. before moving to breaking news in maryland, jackie bensen spoke to a man who had been attacked on that trail before. >> by 6:00 p.m., it's already too dark to see what lies around the next curve on the metropolitan branch trail, but people still have to get home from work. yesterday evening, a woman reported being grabbed from her bike, struck repeatedly and robbed of her wallet, by a man believed to be in his teens or early 20s who ran into the darkness. adam, who commutes on this trail every day, says he's always been targeted here. >> four kids tried to knock me off my bike a year and a half ago. called the cops, they did absolutely nothing. >> wednesday's robbery happened one year after a man was surrounded, assaulted and robbed. police increased patrols after that incident and the number of crimes dropped. but long-time users of the trail say they can almost predict an increase in robberies and assaults after the clocks are turned backor daylight savings time. this almost complet
