we're following preaking news in brooklyn. a woman was -- following breaking news in brooklyn. a woman was shot and a man stabbed after a nightclub melee turned violent. >> reporter: at the end of it all, one person was shot another stabbed and hours later, no suspect that we know of yet. take a look at the video. this is the nightclub called republican along broadway. the fight began inside that club around 1:30 in the bushwick section. police responded to reports of a fight inside found two victims fleeing the club after whatever broke out inside. at the end of the day, a 20- year-old woman was shot in the leg. the stomach. neither injury actually happened inside that nightclub, but out a few blocks away at the corner where we are this morning. at the time, it was hosting a music release party that was set to last until 2:00 a.m. and obviously was disrupted suddenly when the fight broke out. you can see the after-math of what happened here. that is a window from the local checkers fast food joint right here on the corner. shards of glass all over the sidewalk appears to have
