reporting live in ocean city bob brooks. jim. >> let's switch to walter perez on long beach island in ship bottom. walter what about flooding off the bay. >> reporter: what a difference an hour makes. life look at long beach boulevard. the winds have died down just aish will. at 5 o'clock we were on central avenue where there was some flooding and the back bay there was on the brink of overflowing. we had to move the truck, though, to long beach boulevard because that part of central avenue is now under water. and as you can see, this road is not doing well, either. before that the city rain arrived strong winds were already whipping along long beach island. some heel who live and work here took time to check things out along the beach and hope for the best. >> i'm worried about the flooding that's probably going get in the next day over here and the wind is just unbelievable. i got pelted with sand and water. >> reporter: the good news is a local official says they're only expecting minor to moderate flooding across most of
