but all along, the family of michael brown, michael brown sr. and the mother, they have been saying they wanted the protests to be peaceful 6789 they didn't want violence. unfortunately some people did not heed their callings and their yearnings for peace last night. we're interested to hear what their response will be to the violence and what their response to will be to the decision that the grand jury made, not indicting the officer, officer darren wilson, in the shooting death of their loved one, michael brown, an unarmed teenager. we're awaiting word from the press conference now. and also we need to say, some video out there reported by other news organizations of michael brown's mother and michael brown's father, the mother in grief on top of a car not saying anything out of the ordinary, saying, you don't know me, all i ever wanted is peace. i've never done anybody any wrong. then the father steps in and hugs her and the father says, we're going to burn this whatever down, using expletives. those comments have come into question today. t

brown's request.emind demonstrators of our history that those -- the way in which we have made progress in this country is when we have seen peaceful, nonviolent demonstrations that has led to the change that has been the most long lasting and the most pervasive. the -- i'd ask the cops director, ron davis, to continue to confer with local law enforcement and conduct an after action review so we can develop strategies for identifying and isolating the criminal elements of peaceful protesters. additionally, i have instructed department officials to continue to make contact with leaders of the peaceful protesters and to seek their assistance in isolating those individuals who are inclined towards violence. we've had a good ongoing dialogue with peaceful demonstrators in ferguson. i've been very heartened to hear about the work that our customer service relations have done and instructed them to maintain those levels of communications and keep those avenues of communications open. i really embrace those

protesters shutting down interstate 24 after holding a vigil for brown.innati, protesters shut down highway i-75 during a hands up for justice rally led by reverend al sharpton network. several people were arrested for disorderly conduct. in denver, hundreds of people gathered there to protest the ferguson decision. the demonstration was peaceful with most folks leaving around 8:00 tuesday night following police orders. officers were going to use pepper spray. they were apparently grabbing officers. three people there in denver were arrested. some 200 protesters gathered in dallas as police watched and ran traffic breaks to protect them to give them their right to free speech. the demonstrators marched through downtown and into interstate 35. >>> well, the parents of michael brown have condemned the violence in ferguson that has followed the grand jury ruling. speaking to cnn tuesday night, michael brown's great uncle echoed those sentiments. >> we, the family, we encourage peaceful protests, but we do not encourage violence. violence is not answer. destr
