two boys from brown county are alive this morning, thanks to the courage and quick thinking of their neighbors. miriah turner is at the live the heroic rescue. good morning. miriah: the two boys, ages 8 and 12, are recovering this morning at children' s hospital after falling through the ice on a lake. they were treated for exposure and hypothermia, and their neighbors are being credited with saving their lives. pamela neville says she heard cries coming from lake lorelei in brown county and instantly knew something was terribly wrong. she got her husband and her son, john, and they began the rescue. john and his father got into a boat and made their way to the boys, breaking the ice as they went. they managed to get close enough to the panicking boys for john to pull them to the boat. paramedics were on scene by then and aircare transported the boys. again, these boys were being treated for hypothermia and exposure last night, but by the sounds of it, they are lucky to have made it out of such a scary situation with their lives. and they have some very special neighbors to thank for
