and controversy in brown county after a girl' s track coach resigns suddenly. the resignation happened at eastern high school while the district looks into allegations of improper conduct. wlwt news 5' s john london is just back from there and talked with the coach in question. john? john: v ia text message late this afternoon, mark day, the eastern girl' s track coach, tells us he resigned for family and personal reasons. a source informing us this revolves around in proper through text messages with students. day did not teach at eastern but he coach there for years up until three days ago. we are told the school hired an external investigator to look into the allegations. here is the resignation letter from him dated on march 14 in which he agrees to resign immediately and hold the eastern brown local school district out of his resignation. in a statement to us today, superintendent michele filon says "as soon as the district was made aware of the allegations, i.e. immediately acted to place a coach on a ministry to believe. we then conducted a thorough inve
