. >> i'm bruce johnson. >> and i'm lesli foster. late word this evening, the victim of the crash are from maryland mola has been learning more, and he is live now. >> reporter: they are from kensington and silver spring. they were flying back when the plane crashed outside of pittsburgh. there's no official cause to the crash, but investigators tell wtae in pittsburgh one of the doors of the plane. the beachcraft be36 became unhinged and hit the plane's wing. the chief of the fire department said he was hunting nearby when he heard what sounded like an engine malfunction, homes later, the woods filled with smoke, and he heard people screaming. terry carlson was the pilot, and 27-year-old jason williams. both were killed in the crash. carlson's son, 26-year-old erik carlson survived but he has severe burned. he was flown to a nearby hospital in southwest pennsylvania. the crash happened shortly after takeoff, half a mile from the woodlands resort. it's an upscale resort, spa, casino, and golf course in farmington, pennsylvania. again
