. >> good afternoon supervisors, chair farrell, i'm bruce keen, 27 -year resident and familiar with a lack for children's facilities to throw a ball or frisby or safe place to take pictures all the way down from lombardy street. there have been many properties in transition from the parks and recreation in 1948. unfortunately there was no finances to them. even in 55 plans done and approved by the city, failed to go anywhere. this plan was different as many of referenced the community has been able to raise $9 million out of the budget. this has been done under difficult circumstances with no promise of success and in fact skepticism since nothing has happened to this park in decades. this can be considered a model public private partnership. not only in terms of the private funds to construct the park, but to maintain it going forward so it doesn't affect parks and recreation budget. once this gets transferred, i'm sure more funds will be available. we are asking your support in helps us create a new and beautiful park for san francisco, thank you. >> thank you. next speaker, please.
