that i remember because i did not get a ticket to because it was so crowded it was the one that mayor brunn had introduced to our city. that was a wonderful time. i knew there was going to be a lot of things coming out of that summit because it was the hottest ticket in the city. those of you who are around, you were fighting for those tickets, and i just gave up. i said tommy what i have to do. as we look back at the videotapes, as we look at the press events that followed, we were blessed with a lot of great insights, the encouragement of women from international stature coming from all over the world, attending the summit. that makes it easy for me to say that the things i am doing now and the things i have done are credited to the press assessor's -- are credited to the predecessors who came before. it is great for me to introduce someone who has earned this title, dear to me and all of san francisco, this year's man of the year award, will the brown jr. -- willie brown jr. when we went to huntsville, von brunn asked us up to dinner on the hill. i expected when you walked in his little library that here would be all the books on engineering and math and mechanics and all this type of stuff and that would be it. instead of that, when i went in his library for the first time, here were all the books on religion and ethics and philosophy and a few books on math and science and things like that. but his library was mainly filled up by other things. he was a very broad-gauged person. you'd ask him about religion or philosophy and you were in for a two-hour discussion. and so, i enjoyed being with him and i think the other astronauts did, too. and if there were management problems with one center and another and headquarters and so on, well, that was their problem and we really were not involved with that at our level. >> back to the planetarium. >> senator glenn, i want to thank you for coming out today. appreciate it. one quick thing. can you show us the four black spots on your body? just kidding. i'd like you, if you would quic

dad has suffered the brunn of that. he outspent five or six to one. he has really borne the brunt of the negative ads. but a couple things, one is santorum, some of the other front-runners might turn to look at santorum now. dad and santorum have a very good relationship. as you know, santorum served under my dad when my dad was speaker and he was, he often talked about how he helped reform welfare and that was clearly unmy dad's role as speaker. that was when welfare was reform as well as the budget balance for four years. it really says this race is wide open. that we don't know what will happen. what we do know is my father is the only candidate, including president barack obama, that has balanced the budget for four years in a row nationally and reform welfare, cut spending and cut taxes. and he is the leader that we need today. >> well, jackie, as always, a great place to talk to you and i'm sure we'll talk again very soon. >> thank you for having me on. >> has the race changed tonight or is this another swing of the pendulum? joining me now, ben
