the criminal trial tied to the deadly san bruno blast. jacks on van derbeken has been tracking the case. we understand the trial ended today with some drama. >> the trial testimony is now wrapped up. they presented a map showing hundreds of locations where its employees lived at about the time of the explosion in san bruno. but the prosecutor confronted an engineer who was vouching for this map and asked him, did he know where any of the engineers who lived who actually made critical decisions on the pipeline that are now the subject of this case and he simply said he didn't. it was kind of a strange way to end the case that has gone through many perm utations and many thousands of pages of evidence in which an engineer for the company simply was dumbfounded on the stand about how to answer a question from the prosecution. >> jaxon, i know you've been following this case. what do you think is the most striking revelation while you're sitting in court? >> reporter: the testimony of the ntsb lead investigator really made a large, i think, i
