burnley struggled at turf moor, facing a strong newcastle side with goals from callum wilson, sean longstaff and brunohind erling haaland in the race for the golden boot. newcastle moves up to sixth place in the table. we came up against a better side. the team gave it everything, i thought. we had a very good start to the game. i don't think we lacked opportunities to be dangerous ourselves. it was more, yeah, wejust couldn't match newcastle in most areas of the pitch. yeah, they have a lot of good players and, for us, we just can't let ourselves get beaten down by it. it is what it is, we have to pick ourselves up, as we've always done, and go again. anyone that's looking at a season as the end of everything or the beginning of everything when the season starts, for me, is a fool in this game. you have to continue, keep going, and you don't always get the reward for the hard work you put in. but eventually, you have to believe that you will get the reward, and that's what we're doing. that's the only thing that matters. we're going to approach next week again with an idea of doing something special
