bryan scofield now -- bryan when can we see some rain? while the cloud cover and moisture has pushed into the area, most models seem to indicate that the rain is going to stay to our south and east. however, given the conditions, large pacific system that will sweep through the area on thursday. this system is expected to bring big winds to the area with gusts to about 50mph om thursday. also, it will sweep in cooler air, dropping high temps back to the mid 80s on friday. as the system makes an exit on highs in the mid 80s, light of degrees for the start to next workweek. we're learning new details-- after a local pastor was attacked outside his apartment. we now know-- the suspect was convinced that the pastor was an f-b-i agent-- following his every move. 13 action news reporter marissa this arrest report explains how laak told police he thought he was being followed and harrassed by fby agents-- because of information he had on several crimes. take vo laak appeared in court today-- looking blankly into our cameras. according to the arrest report-- laak told police he was being watched 24-7 by federal agents-- all because he had information on some high profile crimes. he told police he had witnessed several murders overseas-- and thats why fbi agents were following him. he was convinced one of those agents-- was the man he's attacking-- pastor charry. police say laak was listed in their system as a threat to law enforcement-- and had post traumatic stress disorder from his time in the marine corps. marissa tag charry did tell 13 action news that he sometimes volunteers with metro police department. mk-- right now -- officials are trying to figure who set a vacant wendy's restaurant on fire in north las vegas...and the fire broke out earlier today near lake mead and civic center.. two portable buildings nearby were destroyed. no one was hurt. the fire is being considered an arson. right now a family of 3 is looking for a new home after a fire destroyed theirs! and they say they're alive because a dog alerted them! the family was able to get out safely along with their dog and cat... firefighters put out the fire within minutes... but it stil thousand dollars in damage. coming up in our second half hour -- the family opens us about the ordeal only to action news! bail has now been set at 200- thousand dollars for the 19 year old accused of hitting a metro motorcycle officer. police say david williams was impaired--- mostly from marijuana when he rear-ended the officer at durango and tropicana last week. the officer was thrown from his bike... but is expected to be ok. people at mccarran airport. metro released this mug shot of jeffery brown. brown is now behind bars charged with attempted murder-- discharging a firearm in a prohibited area-- and assault with a deadly weapon. police say he shot two people last night in the parking garage of mccarran airport. the female victim had a previous relationship with the suspect. new information on those bombings in new york and new jersey. authorities now say ahmad khan rahami has not been cooperative so far ...and we now know his f-b-i. now officals are searching for a motive. karin caifa is outside university hospital in newark, new jersey, where the suspect remains today. authorities say they have their man. now, they want answers. trying to determine a motive, a link between seemingly random targets --- and whether, he had any help. (james o'neill/nypd commissioner) "we dont have anybody else, but again, this is just a couple of days since this event happens" 28-year-old shootout monday. investigators say he is directly linked to saturday blasts in seaside park, new jersey -- and in manhattan's chelsea neighborhood, where 29 people were injured. on tuesday, his father told reporters he expressed concern about his son two years ago. (reporter) "why did you call the fbi 2 years ago-what happened?" (mohammed rahami) because he was doing bad (reporter) "what did he do bad?"
