>> reporter: this is the 1500 block of bryant avenue. a three-alarm fire keeping the fdny very busy. you can see flames coming from one of the town houses here on bryant avenue that caught fire. you can see flames coming from there and a lot of smoke. about 15 minutes ago there was a lot of flames shooting from the inside of the building. so, firefighters are making progress. meanwhile, this is how it looked earlier this morning. the fire broke out just after 4:00 a.m. inside a garage and quickly spread to two adjacent homes. one of the problems firefighters had they initially tapped into a hydrant that had low water pressure that cost pressure time and allowed the fire to spread quickly. so far we have received no reports of any injuries but there is southern about containing the fire. you can see firefighters on the tower ladder looking down on the two homes building. there is a chopper as well giving firefighters additional light so they can identify the various hot spots. coming to the ground level, you can see several people in the
