. >>> you're looking live happy valley thon. 16,000 people packed into the bryce jordon center, theyd dancing for a little over 12 1/2 hours, the party is going on. thon raises money for the fight against pediatric cancer. bob brooks was in the thick of it all last night, he has more. >> reporter: at 6:00 p.m. sharp thon 2017 got moving. since then they have not stopped. 703 dancers, countless other volunteers all ages all working together dancing for the next 46 hours straight to raise funds for families and kids battling childhood cancer. it's total teamwork from the volunteers making snacks from behind the scenes. >> peanut butter and jelly. >> reporter: to the little kids bravely fighting cancer cooling them off with squirt guns. >> my daughter is spectacular, they don't want to break from their homes and hospitals. >> reporter: 11-year-old lane has battled kid flee cancer since he was -- kidney cancer since he was one-year-old. >> we lost so many friends along the way, we meet and grieve with them, but where can you come together for something so devastating. >> it's crazy what
