we've still not had any update from buckingham palace on prince philip's condition after spending the here in hospital. he came yesterday from windsor castle to be treated for that bladder infection. the palace said he would then spend several days in hospital being assessed and observed. the last time we saw him out in public was on sunday during that big river pageant along the thames. he looked like he was having a good time moving along to the music along with the rest of the royal family. but it is worth pointing out that he it spend several hours in the cold and rain. medics say that wouldn't have caused his problem but it might have made his condition worse. we should point out, he is going to be at 91 in the worst days and at christmas had his worst health scare to date when he had chest pains and had to undergo minor heart surgery to improve his blood flow but he was still up and about. we're not guesting the impression that this is so bad, but undoubtedly on this special day, he'll be sad and disappointed that he is here and not by the side of the queen where he has been for
