bud legg of the isaa says he can't change saturday's ruling, it was the proper call, and his hands are tied. (bud legg/ ihsaa spokesperson) there's no wiggle room that was an unfortunately occurrence, but the official... is not bigger than the wording of the rule. the team hopes the rule will be changed in the future, but that would have to come from the national federation. still that's a bitter pill to swallow for a kid just trying to do the right thing.
